I Felt Scared

Dear Prabhu Dayal, I was stalked by two men in a white SUV. I was driving home when I noticed the car following me. There were 2 men inside it. They seemed to be enjoying harassing me.  They blocked my car and one of them started walking towards me. It was only because of luck that I managed to escape and reach a police van. I registered a complaint and my stalker was arrested. But he was let out on bail in a matter of hours. Prabhu Dayal, I am really scared. When stalkers are let out on bail the harassment often gets worse. It can lead to acid attacks, rapes and even murders. Sign my petition asking for stringent provisions against stalking that make it a non-bailable offence. I have partnered with The Quint and Dr Shashi Tharoor to make stalking a non-bailable offence.   If thousands of people sign, the government will realize the gravity of the situation.  Help me reach at least fifty thousand signatures by the end of this week so that we can show the government massive support for this move.
